Weezer's favorite toys have always been those cheapy half moon mice from the pet store. He kills them easily so I made him some that could take the abuse.

Instead of moving that heavy appliance or driving to the pet store right at closing, why not whip up your kitty a super easy mouse using scrap yarn.

What you need:
Worsted weight cotton yarn
Size F (3.75 mm) hook
Polyester fiber fill
Embroidery floss
Embroidery needle
Embroidery floss

Clip to keep place

Catnip and bells, optional

Mouse Ears:
Work in continuous rounds
Make 2
Mouse body:
Work in continuous rounds
Fold circle in half, sc the open edges together.
Just over the half way point stuff with fiber fill, catnip, or toss a bell in.
At end chain 10, break yarn and pull end through last chain.
Sew on ears, be sure to secure them well, you don't want your kitty to swallow one.
Embroider on a simple nose and eyes.

- Slip stitch to first stitch and finish off leaving tails to sew to body

- Chain 2
- Round 1: work 6 sc in first chain
- Round 2: work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 st
- Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 st
- Round 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around - 24 st
- Round 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around - 30 st
- Round 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around - 36 st
