Why not make real burritos for dinner the same night?
My favorite Mexican themed dinner is a whole wheat tortilla stuffed with black beans, corn, spinach, onions, and plain yogurt all with a generous dusting of chili powder. Yum!

Work in continuous rounds
make 2 in light gold or cream

- Round 1: Work 6 sc in first chain
- Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 st
- Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 st
- Round 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around - 24 st
- Round 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around - 30 st
- Round 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around - 36 st
- Round 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, rep from * around - 42 st

Meat Filling:
make 4 in cream or brown
Chain 22, dc -20 st
weave in ends
Veggie Filling:
make 2 in each of red, green, and yellow
Chain 19, sc -18 st
weave in ends
They will curl but it just adds to the fun
Assembly:
Roll up tortilla to size you would like them to be when finished. On opposite side from tail place and sew button. Create a loop from the tail, sew well and weave in end.
Let little ones fill and roll their own burritos.
Little fingers should not have much trouble buttoning the tortilla.
