Curly Fries

Fries are my weakness, luckily I can cut a few calories by making my own or by
using Cascadian Farm products.

What you need:
Worsted weight acrylic yarn
in red, white, and lt. gold
Size 7 (4.5 mm) hook
Yarn needle
Clip to keep place

Work in continuous rounds

  • Ch 2 with white
  • Round 1: Work 6 sc in first chain
  • Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 st
  • Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 st
  • Round 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around - 24 st
  • Round 5:  *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around - 30 st
  • Round 6: Sc in each sc around (back loops only)
  • Round 7-13: Sc in each sc around
  • switch to red in last 2 sts of last row
  • Row 14: Sc in each sc around
  • Finish off and weave in ends
ch 11, hdc 3 in second chain from hook, hdc 3 in each ch till end.
Tie and weave in ends. I made 8 but make as many or as few as you want.
Fries are shorter than container so you can make fries of all lengths if you want.
The amazing burger pattern is from here.
