Arms:

Chain 8, work 3 rows of sc (7 st)
Fold and sew up arm. Leave tail to sew to body

The fun stuff:

Sew long stitches along sides and back of head

Leave a space in the front for your doll's face.

Sew on arms and make a long stitch from front to back (around legs) to give your doll's legs shape. Tie off and weave in ends.

Make two little pompoms and sew them to the top of your doll's head
See?

Go ahead and add a face

She's looking pretty cute now.

Wait, you say she needs a skirt? I totally agree, here it goes.

Skirt:
Skirt should fit snugly, it should slip on and stay on. You may need to adjust the chain and hdc's depending on your gauge.

Chain 20, slip stitch to form ring.
First row: Chain 2, work 20 hdc in ring (this is the waist band) you may need to slide the stitches around to make them even. Slip stitch to join row.
Row 2: Chain 2, hdc 20, slip stitch to join row.
Row 3: Chain 3, 3 dc in each hdc, slip stitch to join row.
Row 4: Chain 1, sc in each dc, slip stitch to join row.
Finish off and weave end ends.
