Bow Holder

I worked this pattern up several months ago but things have been nuts around here so I am only just getting around to posing it.

I've been all about wearing flowers in my hair lately, I think my Bettie Page bangs influencing me. We don't have much room to store things in our little old house so I designed this to put my clips on. I remember having something like this when I was a child only the face was painted wood.

You can choose to sew the hair to the head now or you may wish to braid it first (I braided it after I sewed it on).  Split hair into two parts and braid into pigtails, tie small lengths of yarn around ends of pigtails to secure them. Trim ends.

Loop a small strand of yarn through top of head for hanger.

These make great gifts for little girls and big girls alike.
