Breakfast Radish

We will be planting several rows of radishes this week. 
Ringo, my bunny, will be excited to get the tops.


What you need:

3 colors of worsted weight acrylic yarn
Size F (3.75 mm) hook
Polyester fiber fill
Yarn needle
Clip to keep place
Scissors

Radish:
work in continuous rounds


  • With white: Chain 2
  • Round 1: work 6 sc in first chain
  • Round 2:  sc in each sc around - 6 st
  • Round 3: work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 st
  • Round 4-5: sc in each sc around -12 st
  • Run tail of yarn through hole and onto the outside
  • Round 6: with red, sc in each sc around -12 st
  • Round 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 st
  • Round 8-13: sc in each sc around -18 st
  • Round 14:  *Sc2tog, sc in each of next 1 sts, rep from * around - 12 st
  • Stuff firmly
  • Round 15: sc2tog around - 6 st
  • Sew up end and weave in ends
Leaves:

Leaves were worked just like beet leaves in solid green.
Decrease chain length to 16 and only sc 5.
Sew to top.
Make as many leaves as you wish.
