Sparkling Snowflake

Every year I like to make ornaments to add to the bows of the Christmas gifts I give.
The wrapping paper I chose this year is silver metallic with rainbow snowflakes so a snowflake ornament was the obvious choice.

I put up my birthday tree to model the snowflakes.

What you need:

Size 3 crochet thread
Size C2 (2.75 mm)
30 E beads
Scissors
Yarn needle
A scrap of ribbon

This is one of those patterns I will have a hard to writing down so I tried to take pictures of each step to help you along. Worked in continuous rounds, do not join

Thread beads on the crochet thread

Ch 2
Round 1: work 6 sc in first chain
Round 2: sc 1, sc 1 with bead in each sc around

Round 3: sc, chain 3, skip bead sc, sc in sc, around

Round 4: sc, (2 hdc, chain 3, 2 hdc in chain space) around

Round 5: sc with bead, (sc 2, 3 sc with beads, sc 2, in chain space) sc in sc at bottom of chain space, around. Finish with a slip stitch.

Finish off and weave in ends.
Thread scrap ribbon through a point and tie to make hanger.
