These pretty hair ties were born when my MIL asked for hair flowers to wear to football games.

Bow Holder
I worked this pattern up several months ago but things have been nuts around here so I am only just getting around to posing it.
I've been all about wearing flowers in my hair lately, I think my Bettie Page bangs influencing me. We don't have much room to store things in our little old house so I designed this to put my clips on. I remember having something like this when I was a child only the face was painted wood.

Fresh Muffins/Cupcakes
These small muffins are great for make-believe tea parties. Prefer cupcakes? I have you covered too.

Veggie Corn Dog
Corn dogs are probably my most desired bad for you food. I could eat my fill in them, good thing most places don't have veggie dog versions otherwise I would.

One Bite Ice Cream Cone
Everyone needs sweets once in a while.
These little cones were worked from small scrap balls of yarn. Whip a dozen of these up in no time. Ice cream always brings a smile to a person's face, give them as gifts or add them to your little one's play food collection.

She Wore Flowers in Her Hair
Today I needed a break from working on a baby blanket for a friend so I picked up the package of BonBons I got from Crochet Dynamite and this headband flew off my hook. This flower crown will be perfect to wear with my new to me skirt batik skirt I found at a vintage shop last week.

Easter Bitty Bunny
Easter is right around the corner and instead of buying a real bunny only to give it to the pound a week later ( don't get me started on this topic) why not make a crocheted bunny for your child instead?
I have been using my tiny yarn balls to make many colors of these little guys.

Jellyfish
Happy Pi day everyone. I am bummed I have not eaten any pie yet today, maybe I'll make tarts tonight for fun.

Sand Dollar
I am a Floridian born and raised. Sometimes it is easy to to take all the beauty here for granted. For instance, collecting shells and sand dollars on the snowy white sand while the sea gulls fly overhead and the wind rustles the sea oats. Florida beaches are magical.
Why not make a sand dollar to have a little bit of Florida magic?

Filled Tea Sandwich
When searching Google images for cute tea sandwiches I stumbled upon these. They are just like the ones my mom and I made.

Watercress Tea Sandwiches
Tea sandwiches, one of the most unnecessary but appealing things ever. My mom and I used to make tea sandwiches for my tea parties, we would take our vintage cookie cutters and make little heart and stars filled with egg salad or jams. My niece will be living too far away for me to do this with her, but you never know what the future will hold.
Over the next few days I will be posting several tea sandwiches perfect for make believe.

Crayon Roll
I think crayon rolls are darling. Here is one so easy it might hurt your head.
I made the pockets bigger than most rolls I have seen so you can fit normal, large, or maybe even jumbo crayons.

Cupcake Chapeau
Now, cupcake hats are not new but I only just jumped on the bandwagon. I tried making a few from other patterns but I ended up making my own.

Lipstick Case Recipe
One of my favorite little things are lipstick cases, they give everyday life a little bit of glam.
While there are many lip balm cozy patterns out there I wanted an old fashioned case.

Retro Rabbit Ears
It's cold. It is very cold. I don't like the cold. I am bundled up in a rainbow granny square blanket with a cup of hot coffee, a kitty, and listening to the Rockabilly channel on Pandora all while dreaming of the Florida weather we are supposed to have right now.
When (or if) I leave the house I have to keep my ears warm and face it, I don't always want to wear a bulky hat. I like the idea of ear warmers but I find most of them only look cute in a snow bunny skiing kind of setting. I sat down last night while waiting for the National Championship game (YEAH! GO NOLES, sorry) and crocheted this headband/ear warmer in just about an hour.
So tease and curl your hair, put on some red lipstick, tune up your rockabilly channel, and start crocheting.

It's 2014, can you believe it? I don't really make resolutions but I promise to post fun new patterns and work on the layout of the website.
