During the holiday season people on the road seem to be preoccupied. That is why I am so happy that I found Hobby Lobby's I <3 This Yarn NEONS! I made this cute hat from it to give me a little more visibility when I am out on my daily walks.

What you need:
Hobby Lobby Neon yarn
(uses about half a skein)
Size N (10 mm) hook
Size K (6.5 mm) hook
Clip to keep place
Yarn needle
Scissors
Hat:
Work in continuous rounds with N hook
- Chain 2
- Round 1: Work 6 sc in first chain
- Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sts
- Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 sts
- Round 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around - 24 sts
- Round 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around - 30 sts
- Round 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around - 36 sts
- Round 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, rep from * around - 42 sts
- Round 8: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 6 sts, rep from * around - 48 sts
- Round 9: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 7 sts, rep from * around - 54 sts
- Round 10: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 8 sts, rep from * around - 60 sts
- Round 11: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 9 sts, rep from * around - 66 sts
- Round 12: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 10 sts, rep from * around - 72 sts
- Round 13: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 11 sts, rep from * around - 78 sts
- Round 14: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 12 sts, rep from * around - 84 sts
- Round 15 - 24: sc in each sc around - 84 sts
- Switch to K hook
- Round 25*: sc 4, sc2tog the rest of the way around till last 4 sts, sc in last 4 st
- Round 26-29: sc in each st around
- Finish off and weave in ends
* You may need more or less single crochets in this round to make the band fit your head.
