What you need:
Worsted Weight Yarn
Size L (8 mm) hook
Size H (5 mm) hook
Clip to keep place
Yarn needle
Scissors
Hat:
Work in continuous rounds, do not join
- Chain 2 (L hook)
- Round 1: Work 6 sc in first chain
- Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sts
- Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 sts
- Round 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around - 24 sts
- Round 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around - 30 sts
- Round 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around - 36 sts
- Round 7: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, rep from * around - 42 sts
- Rounds 8-10: sc in each sc around - 42 sts
- Switch to H hook
- Round 11: *sc2tog, sc, repeat from * around
- Rounds 12-13: sc
- Slip st to finish, break yarn and weave in ends
