Spam Musubi

I'm in a Hawaiian vibe so I give you

What you need:
Worsted weight acrylic yarn
In white, spam color, and black
Size F (3.75 mm) hook
Size I (5.5 mm) hook
Polyester fiber fill
Yarn needle
Clip to keep place
Scissors

Rice:
Work in continuous rounds
F hook

  • Chain 2
  • Round 1: work 4 sc in first chain
  • Round 2: work 3 sc in each sc around - 12 st
  • Round 3: sc 1 *3 sc in next st, sc 2, rep from * sc 1 - 20 st
  • Round 4: sc in each sc, back loops only
  • Round 5-15: sc in each sc
  • Finish off and weave in ends
Rice End:
Work rounds 1-3 from rice


Sew rice end to rice. When you are 3/4 around stuff firmly.
Finish sewing and weave in ends.


Canned Ham:
I hook, spam color

Using double yarn crochet a strip 5 sts wide and 8 sts long.
Finish off and weave in ends. Optional: Sc around the edge with singe yarn.
Sew to top of rice.

Nori:
F hook, black yarn

Chain a chain long enough to go around rice and ham combo, add a few extra chains just encase.
Crochet 4 rows. Sew around middle of rice and ham. Weave in ends.
